Eat the Universe: Nova Space Donuts Are Out of This World

The new holiday collection of Marvel Eat the Universe is now available at BoxLunch!

You don’t have to travel to another galaxy to get your hands on some Nova donuts, as celebrity chef Justin Warner is whipping them up in this solar system for the latest episode of Eat the Universe! All you need is some plain, unfrosted donuts, gel based food coloring, and icing!

In order to create the celestial look of these donuts, first make the frosting – a combination of powdered sugar, milk, coconut water, and water. Coloring them with the food coloring, mix the colors together every so slightly to really give it a cosmic feel. Dip the donuts in different parts of the frosting to create different patterns on all of them, and splatter white gel food coloring on top for stars. You can even add edible glitter to really make them sparkle!
