Women of Marvel Looks Back at Captain Marvel's Modern Metamorphosis

Kelly Sue DeConnick and Steve Wacker join the show to share how they reimagined Carol Danvers.

Back in 2012, writer Kelly Sue DeConnick and then-Marvel Editor Steve Wacker (now Marvel VP, Creative & Content Development) joined forces to give Carol Danvers a new story in the Marvel Universe. Years later, we're on the brink of welcoming Captain Marvel into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Marvel Studios' "Captain Marvel," opening in theaters on March 8. DeConnick and Wacker both appeared on Women of Marvel to share a little history behind the reimagination of Carol Danvers as Captain Marvel.
