Marvel’s Avengers WAR TABLE: New Story Trailer Reveals A Surprising Villain

Reassemble on September 4, 2020!

2:31

As if trying to control her Inhuman powers and bring the Avengers back together after the fateful A-Day isn’t enough for Kamala Khan she’s now got someone else to worry about: AIM’s founder George Tarleton. But you might know him and his big head as MODOK.

During the WAR Table for Marvel’s Avengers, it was revealed that the already announced Taskmaster isn’t the only villain who’s going to appear in the upcoming game. Turns out, MODOK — Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing — is very much a huge threat, too.

In the new story trailer, we see Kamala actually come face to face — er, face to head with Tarleton, and she believes he’s actually behind the chaos of A-Day, which disbanded the Avengers as they were blamed for the destruction. Armed with proof she’s managed to find that AIM’s to blame and they’re experimenting on Inhumans, she teams up with Bruce Banner who takes her to Tony Stark to try and get to the bottom of this.

Including MODOK in the game wasn’t a hard decision, as the team at Crystal Dynamics was looking for a villain who had the muscle and mental capacity to become a huge modern-day foe for the Avengers.
