Black Panther 2

Today at the D23 Expo, fans filled Hall D23 to gather for the "Go Behind the Scenes with The Walt Disney Studios" presentation to get a glimpse of the exciting new movies coming to theaters from The Walt Disney Studios. Included in that presentation was a section dedicated to Marvel Studios hosted by none other than Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. Coming off the record breaking, most successful film of all time, Marvel Studios' "Avengers: Endgame," Feige was excited to share what's to come for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After giving us a glimpse of the next phase of films at San Diego Comic-Con, Feige revealed even more amazing Marvel Studios news.

First up, Kevin Feige welcomed Ryan Coogler to the stage, who's well known for directing the critically acclaimed, award-winning film Marvel Studios' "Black Panther." Coogler delighted fans as he revealed that Marvel Studios' "Black Panther 2" in indeed coming to theaters and Coogler said that they're "taking their time to make it right" and joked with Feige about how it was too early to reveal the title of the film just yet. Marvel Studios' "Black Panther 2" will be in theaters on May 6, 2022.

Next to join the stage, Kevin Feige welcomed the cast of Marvel Studios' "The Eternals", who were first introduced on stage at San Diego Comic-Con. The cast on stage included Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Brian Tyree Henry, Lia McHugh, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, and Don Lee. But the cast is not complete as Feige introduced two new members of the cast: Barry Keoghan, playing "Druig", Gemma Chan who will be playing "Sersi" and Kit Harrington who's playing "Dane Whitman", a non-Eternal character who Marvel fans may recognize from the comics as Black Knight. In addition to the new casting news, Feige shared with the audience exclusive looks at the concept art for the film including our first look at the cast in costumes. Marvel Studios' "The Eternals" hits theaters on November 6, 2020.

Fans got treated to even more footage and scenes from the upcoming film. Marvel Studios' "Black Widow" releases in theaters on May 1, 2020.
