Women of Marvel Welcomes 'WandaVision' Costume Designer Mayes Rubeo

Rubeo shares how she helps Wanda and Vision dress through the decades on the Disney+ show!

Women of Marvel WandaVision

Wanda Maximoff and Vision are not just an unusual couple, they're also really well-dressed! On the latest episode of Women of Marvel, Judy Stephens chats with Mayes Rubeo, costume designer on Marvel Studios' WandaVision -- streaming exclusively on Disney+ -- to find out how she dresses the show's characters as they journey through decades of sitcoms! Here's a bit of what Rubeo had to say:

“It’s a lot of satisfaction, when you see your costumes and have the director and the script envision it, it’s really great. It’s an incredible feeling to see your work up there, already done, and it’s there forever. ... When we did [Elizabeth Olsen's] pregnancy dress, I used a period fabric—there was only 30 meters there, and that was it. So I had to make it work. And I designed the costume; we designed most of the costumes. We were at the drawing board a lot.”
