Family is everything. On Episode 8 "Parenthood and Family," hosts Lorraine Cink and Angélique Roché talk with Angel Parker (Catherine Wilder), Kevin Weisman (Dale Yorkes), James Yaegashi (Robert Minoru) about parenthood on and off the show, and if the actions of Pride define the lives of the Runaways.

All three actors are parents in real life, which gives them a unique perspective about Pride. When they see their on-screen children, they instantly have a reactionary parental vibe which makes the scenes feel even more real.

The synergy behind the scenes with the parents is also palpable on-screen when Pride gets together. Working together through Season 1, the cast have grown to know each others’ quirks and strengths, making the Pride actors a real family—minus the killing.

Regardless of the trials and tribulations, poisonings, murders, and spaceships—not normal family stuff at all—the Runaways families need each other.
