Krysten Ritter Returns as Jessica Jones in ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2
The actor joins Charlie Cox in the celebrated Disney+ series.
Jessica Jones is back.
During Disney’s 2025 upfront presentation on Tuesday, Krysten Ritter took the stage to announce that she is joining the cast of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Joined by Daredevil actor Charlie Cox, Ritter revealed that she’ll be reprising her role as Jessica, the beloved Super Hero/private investigator.
Ritter made her Marvel debut in 2015, starring in three seasons of the TV series Jessica Jones. She also starred in the crossover series The Defenders.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 premiered on Disney+ earlier this year, spotlighting Cox’s vigilante lawyer Matt Murdock and Vincent D’Onofrio’s crime lord turned mayor Wilson Fisk. Season 2 is now in production.
“We’ve been shooting a lot of crazy sequences,” Born Again executive producer Sana Amanat told Marvel.com in April. “The crew is crushing it, and the action is nonstop.”
As part of the upfront presentation, Marvel Television also shared an exclusive look at the upcoming series Wonder Man, starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley. The show will premiere on Disney+ in December 2025.
