Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany Discuss ‘WandaVision’ with Jimmy Kimmel
The Marvel Studios series arrives on Disney+ on January 15!
Ahead of the release of Marvel Studios’ WandaVision, the two stars of the series, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! — safely, and separately! — to discuss the show, landing on Disney+ next week. But, don’t expect a wealth of information, let alone spoilers, from these two!
When Kimmel asks if she can provide any additional information about the series that hasn’t been revealed, Olsen laughs, “No! You know [I can’t do] that!” But she goes on to divulge that “Wanda and Vision are living their suburban sitcom dreams.” Bettany offers up much of the same, explaining the series is about “two Super Heroes who begin to wonder what’s going on in this world, because this can’t be right.”
Bettany also touched on his return to Vision because the last time we saw him the synthesized android wasn’t doing so great. Bettany thought he was being “caned” when he was called into the Marvel Studios office to talk, and went in expecting to be let down. After launching into a speech about how great it was to simply be part of the MCU, it sure seemed like he was quitting when Kevin Fiege, Marvel Studios president interjected, “We’re going to pitch you a TV show!”
And that TV show arrives next week! Watch Olsen and Bettany’s interviews in the videos above, and WandaVision starts streaming on January 15.
