With ten days to go until “Marvel’s Luke Cage” returns with new episodes on Friday, June 22 on Netflix, a brand new trailer is here for Season 2 of the series.

Watch the trailer above to get a bigger look at what to expect in Season 2, as Luke finds himself caught in the middle of the escalating conflict between Mariah (Alfre Woodard) and the powerful new threat known as Bushmaster (Mustafa Shakir).

In “Marvel’s Luke Cage” Season 2, after clearing his name, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) has become a celebrity on the streets of Harlem with a reputation as bulletproof as his skin. But being so well known has only increased the pressure he feels to protect the community. With the rise of a formidable new foe, Luke is forced to confront the fine line that separates a hero from a villain.

“Marvel’s Luke Cage” is Executive Produced by series Showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker (“SouthLAnd,” “Ray Donovan”) along with Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Jessica Jones,” “Marvel’s Daredevil”), and Jim Chory (“Marvel’s Jessica Jones,” “Marvel’s Daredevil”).

You can see Luke Cage in action in “Marvel’s Luke Cage” Season 1 and “Marvel’s The Defenders,” now streaming on Netflix. Follow @LukeCage on Twitter and like “Marvel’s Luke Cage” on Facebook for all the latest news and updates.
