The Most Ambitious Crossover of All 2020: Marvel Studios Heads to Springfield in ‘The Simpsons’

Now streaming on Disney+!

The Avengers have arrived in Springfield — and the latest season of The Simpsons has arrived on Disney+

Season 31 includes one episode featuring Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios' Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony and Joseph Russo, and Maria Hill actor Cobie Smulders. After Bart sees a big Super Hero movie early, he blackmails the rest of the town into not spoiling the ending early in “Bart the Bad Guy.”

Featuring characters like “Magnesium Man,” “Air Shot” and “Moby Man” — all part of the super-team The Vindicators trying to stop “Chinnos” — Bart uses the knowledge of the movie’s ending to get what he wants from everyone in Springfield, whether it be comics or extra food on his lunch tray. But, along the way, Bart learns a very important lesson that revealing spoilers is a serious offense with sometimes dire consequences.
