Filius was born at sea in the massive vessel called Infra-World, and because of this, his body was evolved to perfectly withstand the crushing pressures of the deep. He sailed by the side of Captain Omen, his father, for many years before deciding to revolt against him in a desperate attempt to be a part of the surface world. However, Filius, along with others who shared his dream, were hesitant to act until fate led the Hulk to be captured by Captain Omen. Now with the Jade Giant in his corner, Filius led the charge against his father but was temporarily halted when Aquon was unleashed. Hulk clashed with Aquon, but once the battle was over, Aquon defeated, Filius was able to force his father to bring Infra-World to the surface. Little did Filius know that his physiology, as well as those who longed to live in the world above, was not suited to survive there. Almost as soon as they touched dry land, the former crew members began to explode when their strong hearts and high blood pressures forced the blood from their bodies. Filius tried to retreat back to the ship, but Captain Omen refused to let him in, fearing for the lives of those who chose to remain loyal to him. Captain Omen returned to the sea as he left his son to die for his dream.
