Impact is considered to be extremely lethal as he is a fighting master in six different forms of unarmed combat, and he is also a part of the peace keeping force known as the Luminals. After getting the authorization to hunt down a missing Drax within the walls of Knowhere, Impact, along with Massdriver and Brightstorm, would soon get more than they bargained for. Maybe they underestimated the power of Drax, but Impact did not fair any better than his partners when Drax, also a fighting master, beat him so severely that Impact ended up in intensive care.
Impact eventually healed and presumably answered the call along with every other Luminal – active, reserve or retired – to reinforce the Guardians of the Galaxy when they assaulted the Universal Church of Truth to rescue Moondragon and Cynosure.
