Interface was the leader of “The Force,” a team of intergalactic mercenaries that continually found themselves on the wrong side of the Guardians of the Galaxy. During their first known mission Interface led his team on a quest to find the shield of the legendary hero Captain America. Interface and his crew were able to find and secure the shield, but after realizing that it did not have any extraordinary powers, he cast the shield away and it was claimed by Major Victory who saw the shield as a symbol of inspiration and courage. Interface was challenged for his position as leader of the “Force” by the revengeful Brahl who allied himself with Malevolence the demon daughter of Mephisto, to exact his revenge upon the Guardians. Interface regained leadership of the “Force” after Brahl’s defeat at the hands of Starhawk.
