Queen’s Bodyguard
Shadowclaw’s origin is unrevealed, but she serves as bodyguard to Queen Ororo, leader of one faction on Earth-6706’s surface following a storm of meteors that ravages the planet.

As Ororo’s personal bodyguard, Shadowclaw is a capable fighter and hand-to-hand combatant.
Allies and Antagonists
As Queen Ororo’s bodyguard on her home reality of Earth-6706, Shadowclaw fights tooth and nail to protect her Queen and serve her to the best of her ability.
Shadowclaw teams up with New Exiles members Victor Creed, AKA Sabretooth (Earth-295), and Betsy Braddock, AKA Psylocke from Earth-616, to help rescue their teammate Rogue (Earth-1009). With them, she also helps King Namor of Atlantis against the impending threat posed by Black Panther-6706 and her Bloodforce, who want to overthrow him and conquer his realm of Atlantis. The trio finds Rogue but end up in a battle against the Vampire Bloodwitch from Shadowclaw’s reality, who had previously bitten Sabretooth and caused him to turn against Shadowclaw. Namor, also from Earth-6706, comes to her aid against the deadly threat.
Shadowclaw’s Story
Shadowclaw was present at a meeting between Queen Ororo and Kang, an Atlantean who discussed the unknown fate of his monarch Namor. Following that meeting, Sabretooth and Psylocke were brought to Queen Ororo and they discussed their need to find their missing friends and teammates Rogue and Mistiq. Ororo agreed but only if they would help them reach Namor first before the Atlantean rebels did so.
Queen Ororo received an encrypted message from the Sub-Sahara, so she sent Shadowclaw, Sabretooth, and Psylocke to investigate. Before they departed, Shadowclaw noticed something off about Sabretooth, who had previously been bitten by Bloodwitch, an agent working for Black Panther-6706 on her Bloodforce. Shadowclaw also picked up on a shift in Psylocke’s reactions to Sabretooth, who seemed from Shadowclaw’s perspective to be lacking will by yielding to his desires.
Once they found Rogue at a secret cave of Namor’s, Sabretooth and Psylocke turned on Shadowclaw and shortly thereafter Bloodwitch appeared, making known that the pair of New Exiles were under her thrall. Namor and his Atlantean family arrived to assist against the attack and held Bloodwitch back until Psylocke, being functionally immune to mind-control, and Sabretooth broke free of Bloodwitch’s thrall and knocked her out with a coordinated punch. Shadowclaw assisted Psylocke and Sabretooth against the Bloodforce until Black Panther-6706 arrived and threatened Namor’s wife, Sue Storm-6706.
Another Sue then attacked the Panther, but her claws dug into the original Sue’s throat. A battle between the New Exiles and Bloodforce broke out, with Shadowclaw in the fray as well, until Panther teleported her team to their escape ship and detonated a bomb, securing their escape. The other Sue then revealed themselves to be the missing New Exiles member, Mystiq! After the battle, Shadowclaw and the New Exiles began to depart with Namor and his family but were interrupted by a craft emerging from underfoot, captained by Valeria Fen, Namor’s second-born. They departed into space altogether, escaping another attack from the Panther who tried to keep them from leaving.
