Volga Belle was a member of the Peristrike Force and played an active part in the abduction of her maker, Dr. Anatoly Vonya. Although engineered to have super strength and durability, she was defeated twice by the hero Darkhawk – the second left her unconscious and helpless as police arrived at the scene. Sometime later Volga joined the Soviet revolutionaries known as the Remont Six, and during a raid on an A.I.M. facility the Six were attacked by the Winter Guard. Volga tried to take down Ursa Major, but she was no match for his strength even with the help of her teammates, the Snow Leopards.
