Shadu the Shady was the owner of a mystical item known as the Aural Eye of Asmodel. He used this item various times when he was performing in an occult nightclub, the 53rd Card, to cast a “third eye” over the audience and view their auras. One night, the Eye had shown Shadu a cheating wife, a couple of embezzlers and an absolute nothingness shaped in the form of a man. The nothing turned out to be the Prince of Orphans, and he was on the hunt for Shadu’s comrade, Orson Randall.
Since Shadu’s passing, it has not yet been revealed who, if anyone, is in possession of the Aural Eye of Asmodel.
