The Cloak of Levitation was given to Dr. Strange by the Ancient One for defeating Dormammu. It can be animated independently or according to Strange's commands, which include: levitating, flying, retrieving, attacking and enwrapping. The cloak also protects its wearer against magical attacks.
Although the cloak is virtually indestructible, it has been damaged before. Once in a battle against Zom and another by a mystical force. Thought to be damaged beyond repair, Strange sought out Enitharmon, who was able to mend the cloak.
