Marvel’s Stormbreakers program spotlights the best up-and-coming artists in the comic book industry. Each class has become some of the industry’s most recognized illustrators for their style, creativity, and groundbreaking portfolio work.
Marvel’s Stormbreakers is the next evolution of Marvel’s Young Guns program. Widely known as luminaries of their craft, Marvel’s Young Guns, which include alumni such as Jim Cheung, Steve McNiven, Leinil Yu, Daniel Acuna, David Marquez, Sara Pichelli, and many other legendary talents, have drawn some of Marvel’s greatest events and iconic new series over the years. Marvel’s Stormbreakers continues the tradition Marvel’s Young Guns set forth and recognizes its alumni today as honorary Stormbreakers in addition to their work as Young Guns.
In 2020, Marvel introduced the world to the new class of Marvel's Stormbreakers and its inaugural class: Carmen Carnero, R.B. Silva, Natacha Bustos, Patrick Gleason, Iban Coello, Peach Momoko, Joshua Cassara and Juann Cabal. Welcome to the next generation of elite artists!
