Luciano Vecchio Spotlights the New Generation of X-Men in Upcoming 'Uncanny X-Men' Variant Covers
Starting in February, see Calico, Deathdream, Jitter, and Ransom, the stars of Gail Simone and Dave Marquez's 'Uncanny X-Men,' on new variant covers by Luciano Vecchio.
Writer Gail Simone and artist David Marquez just concluded the first arc of their acclaimed new run of UNCANNY X-MEN, which introduced readers to four new mutants: CALICO, DEATHDREAM, JITTER, and RANSOM!
With their stellar designs, gripping backstories, and unique power sets, these breakout characters have been embraced by X-fans and are destined to have a major impact on the X-Men’s world in the years ahead. To celebrate their popularity, they’ll each be featured on solo covers by superstar artist Luciano Vecchio starting in February.
Running on UNCANNY X-MEN #10-13, these new pieces continue Vecchio’s hit cover format on the series, which previously featured the adult cast. Each cover will also be available as virgin variant covers.
Dubbed the Outliers, these fresh X-Men trainees join Rogue’s X-Men team at their new home in New Orleans. Readers can learn more about the Outliers in tomorrow's UNCANNY X-MEN #6, where the four will bond over the struggles they face at a regular school, setting the stage for their key role in the upcoming RAID ON GRAYMALKIN crossover!
Future issues will dive deeper into their origins, reveal the full potential of their mutant gifts, and unravel new mysteries, including the fact that one of them is prophesied to be the Endling, the last member of mutantkind!
