Marvel's New Ultimate Titles Enter Year Two With Stunning Foil Covers

At the start of the year, Jonathan Hickman and Marco Checchetto kicked off Marvel Comics’ new Ultimate line with ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #1, a visionary take on Marvel’s most iconic character that set the standard for the first wave of Ultimate titles including ULTIMATE BLACK PANTHER, ULTIMATE X-MEN, and ULTIMATES.

Each series has captured readers’ imaginations, and to mark a year of extraordinary storytelling, the 13th issues of ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN, ULTIMATE BLACK PANTHER, ULTIMATE X-MEN, and ULTIMATES will feature a ONE YEAR IN FOIL VARIANT COVER by acclaimed cover artist and Pixar animator Benjamin Su.

Told in real time, each consecutive issue of the Ultimate titles take place a month apart. This fast-paced storytelling means the lives of Peter Parker and T’Challa of Earth-6160 have changed dramatically as they head into Year Two and both ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN and ULTIMATE BLACK PANTHER’s ONE YEAR IN FOIL COVERS depict them facing their greatest challenges yet.
