When the anti-mutant organization Orchis made their move at the annual Hellfire Gala, a blow was struck against mutantkind—maybe the worst in their species’ history. With many mutants outright killed and many thousands more missing having been forced to flee the planet, things are harder than ever for those left behind to fight the good fight. No longer simply hated and feared, every mutant remaining on planet Earth is a fugitive living underground on the lam or in one of an extremely small number of tentative safe havens.

And brothers John Proudstar, AKA Thunderbird, and James Proudstar, AKA Warpath, are two such fugitives. Having returned home to Camp Gozhoo for refuge, the Proudstar brothers are attempting to find peace. But when Orchis comes knocking, they’ll be knock some heads together instead!
