E3 2019: Meet the Cast of 'Marvel's Avengers'

One of the biggest reveals at E3 2019 was the arrival and first look at Marvel's Avengers!

The first official trailer of the game debuted during Square Enix E3 2019. The story kicks off at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. However, the celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband with Captain America among those who were lost that day. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

Marvel and Square Enix have a special message from their all-star cast in a featurette above! Jeff Schine takes the mantle as the super-soldier, Captain America; Travis Willingham delivers a more-than-worthy performance for Thor Odinson; the God of Thunder;  and Troy Baker brings the dual personalities of Bruce Banner and the Hulk to life. Laura Bailey is the ultimate tactical spy, Black Widow, and Nolan North suits up as the charismatic Iron Man, Tony Stark. The featurette above reveals their thoughts on suiting up as Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Marvel's Avengers, an epic action-adventure game that combines cinematic storytelling with single-player and co-operative gameplay! Developed by Crystal Dynamics in collaboration with Eidos-Montréal, Nixxes Software, and Crystal Northwest, Marvel’s Avengers will release simultaneously for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X, Stadia, and PC on May 15, 2020.
