MARVEL Strike Force Recruits Ronin and Mockingbird in New War Defense Team

The Alliance War in MARVEL Strike Force is bringing out all the heavy hitters of the Marvel Universe, and the New Avengers are no exception!
Meet the New Avengers
With the reveal of the New Avengers, we’re introducing a new War Defense team with the aim of shaking up the Alliance War metagame. Mockingbird and Ronin will join updated versions of veteran S.T.R.I.K.E. agents Thing and Agent Coulson, as well as surprise addition Tigra, to form this new team.
Ronin
While Hawkeye is best known for his role as the Avengers’ bow-wielding trick shooter, the Ronin guise is an identity passed between multiple individuals. As a masterless samurai, the Ronin identity battles with underworld powers that make their threats from the shadows and has been adopted by Blade, Maya Lopez, and even an alternate universe version of Marc Spector. But in the February 2007 issue of NEW AVENGERS #27, it was Clint Barton disguised as Ronin who arrived on the scene alongside the fugitive New Avengers team when they set out to rescue Echo from Elektra and the Hand. This more focused version of Clint Barton has abandoned the Hawkeye identity in the wake of the Superhuman Registration Act and adopted the katana as his weapon of choice.
Mockingbird
Barbara “Bobbi” Morse, AKA Mockingbird, is one of the strongest and most influential women in the Marvel universe. Introduced in ASTONISHING TALES #6, Bobbi emerged two years later as the S.H.I.E.L.D. spy Agent 19. Since then, Bobbi has foiled countless evil plots, fought alongside multiple Avengers teams, formed her own spy agency, and even became a real-life Skrull bogeyman.
