This Week in Marvel Heralds the Reign of Emperor Hulkling

Marvel's EMPYRE is in full swing, and anyone who has been reading the intergalactic comic event knows that it's a brand new chapter for Teddy Altman AKA Hulkling! His story was told in the tie-in issue LORDS OF EMPYRE: EMPEROR HULKLING #1, written by Chip Zdarsky and Anthony Oliveira -- both of whom are this week's guests on This Week in Marvel! Ryan "Agent M" Penagos and Lorraine Cink talk about how they collaborated on the issue -- which was drawn by Manuel Garcia -- and how they wanted to portray the impact of this turn of events on Hulkling's life. Here's a bit of what Oliveira had to say:

“I felt like when Wiccan and Hulkling get written, sometimes they seem to exist in this vacuum where they’re only in relation to each other. So whenever I get a chance to I try to give some sense of them having an actual full queer life."
