'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' will return this summer.
Last week, the "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 6 teaser reminded us that Phil Coulson is dead and his former team has been operating without his leadership for some time.
The "S.H.I.E.L.D." actor stopped by the Marvel LA studio to chat with our very own Lorraine Cink about the glue of the Marvel Universe and tease his new role this season.
During a one-on-one interview at TCA, series executive producer and Head of Marvel TV Jeph Loeb remarked on Gregg's new role. "I can't really talk about the meaning other than to say that the show will always have a special place in my heart," said Loeb. "It was the first show we did at Marvel Television. I could not have done the show without Clark. He's both my friend and our captain."
Who Clark Gregg plays and why he has Phil Coulson's face will be revealed when Season 6 of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." returns this summer. All we know for certain is Coulson is gone and dead, his former team is still reeling from the loss, and Director Mackenzie has a lot to shoulder.
