Enver Gjokaj Talks Joining ‘Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.l.D’

If you tuned into the latest episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. you might have seen a very familiar face. Enver Gjokaj is back as Agent Daniel Sousa, reprising his role from Marvel’s Agent Carter! 

With the agents jumping through time now aboard the Zephry One, they come across Sousa in the 1950s. As Gjokaj notes in the new behind-the-scenes video — which you can watch above! —  Sousa has gone on to become sort-of the Agent Coulson of his day for the S.S.R. Since we last saw him in Agent Carter, he’s gone on to have a very prosperous (and exciting) career battling the likes Hydra. 

Now, we get to see Sousa interact with the likes of Coulson, Daisy, Mack, and Simmons...even though for him it’s present day, and for everyone else, it’s half a decade prior. 

Season 7 of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. aris on Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
