A man of few words, the individual who piloted the left leg of the Quintronic Man during its first outing was partially responsible for nearly defeating the Hulk. He and Van Dyke, the pilot of right leg of the robot, fired up their boot jets to liquefy the road the Hulk was standing on, imprisoning him in a mound of goop. If his teammate, McCord, hadn't enraged the Hulk, the man-brute may not have been able to break free and eventually defeat the Quintronic Man.
