10 Best Alternate Reality Spider-Men

Check out these parallel Peter Parkers!

Spider-Men

After decades spent appearing in dozens of alternate realities, Spider-Man is one of the Marvel Super Heroes with the dimension-hopping adventures. Below, we look at some of our favorite alternate reality Spider-Men.

The Spider-Man of Earth-80219

An early alternate take on Spidey focused on his abandoned career as a masked celebrity. In this reality, Peter stayed in show business and let greed get in the way of his heroic nature.

The Spider-Man of Earth-1089

In the main Marvel reality, Spider-Man sought help immediately after discovering that his snazzy new black costume actually possessed a mind of its own. On Earth-1089, however, Parker waited too long and allowed the alien symbiote to take control and literally suck the life out of him!

The retired Spider-Man of Earth-982

The Peter Parker of the MC2 universe retired from crime fighting following the loss of his leg in a battle with the Green Goblin. Parker started working in an NYPD crime lab and focused on raising his daughter, May, who took on the role of Spider-Girl just as soon as she discovered her super powers.

The Ultimate Spider-Man of Earth-1610

The longest-running alternate reality Peter Parker has to be the Ultimate Universe's Spider-Man. Readers spent over a decade with the brilliant teenager as he fought villains both old and new and struggled with the annoyances of high school. Like a few of the Parkers on this list, the Ultimate Spider-Man lost his life in battle, thus paving the way for an all-new Spidey—Miles Morales.

The Spider joined up with the ruthless reality-traveling Weapon X crew, an affiliation that would ultimately lead to his grisly death.
