What is Marvel Unlimited?

We know a lot of our MU readers have been chomping at the bit to start the saga that reshapes the X-Men’s past, present and future, so we’ll withhold major spoilers here. It’s enough to say that creators Jonathan Hickman, Pepe Larraz, and R. B. Silva, have plunged the X-Men into an insular world order, where the planet’s mutant population now lives and operates across the paradisiacal “Habitats” of Living Island Krakoa.

Krakoa, now the mutants’ homeland and governance. Krakoa, who’s spawned its own language and hosts ancient secrets in its tendrils and veins. Krakoa, a nation protected by humanity’s colossal debt to Charles Xavier.

Krakoa, the ever-evolving hive mind that’s forced us to face, and fear, the future of the X-Men.

Hickman’s epic is chalking up to be one of the most anticipated MU debuts of 2020. Join us over the next 12 weeks as the story continues in POWERS OF X (2019) #1-6, the interconnected series running concurrently to HOUSE OF X.

Where HOUSE OF X covers Xavier’s master plan and the “collateral” of Krakoa’s global benefits, POWERS OF X tunes into mutantkind’s secret history across split timelines, shining a spotlight on an unlikely puppeteer pulling all the strings.

Here’s the suggested reading order so you can follow along. This run’s particularly ideal for tablet users, especially for Hickman’s text-heavy approach to what, at times, reads like the New Testament: Mutant Edition.
