Look Inside ‘Captain America: Marvels Snapshot #1’

No need to pack your bags for this adventure, but we’re taking a trip back to Kirbytown — that’s Jack Kirby, FYI — and revisiting one of his stories following the madness-inducing Madbomb and its aftermath. CAPTAIN AMERICA: MARVELS SNAPSHOT revisits this iconic arc, but now we’re about to see it in a brand new light!

Featuring Captain America, along with the Falcon, Iron Man, and more, a gifted South Bronx teenager sees his neighborhood destroyed in the initial Madbomb attack, and his future up in smoke with it. What does he do when A.I.M. recruiters come calling? Does he stand by a system that's failed him, or find a future outside the law?

Writer Mark Russell says CAPTAIN AMERICA: MARVELS SNAPSHOT will focus on “the Madbomb's impact in the South Bronx, a community which had already been effectively abandoned by the rest of the nation, that community's struggle for survival, and of the search for heroes of its own.”

Joined by artist Ramón Pérez (ALL-NEW HAWKEYE), if you’re looking to take a peek inside the issue ahead of its release on June 24, read on! With everyone under the spell of the Madbomb — including the police officers — what's Cap to do?
