A special first look at X-MEN (2021) #29 shows Doom communicating with Professor Charles Xavier telepathically prior to Krakoa's fall. In one page, Doom gazes down upon his mutant recruits from his tower, only for them to suit up in Doom-inspired team regalia in another. Finally, Doom demonstrates one of his weapons for them by obliterating a suit of Iron Man armor.
