Joe Quesada tells Stephen Wacker about what happened during the making of the new digital series!

Today isn’t just the first day of Comic-Con@Home – it’s also the premiere of Marvel’s Storyboards with Joe Quesada, EVP, Creative Director of Marvel Entertainment! You can watch the first episode – featuring guest star Hugh Jackman – but if you want to find out even more about what’s to come in the show’s first season, you can tune in to the panel discussion now!

In this conversation between Joe and Marvel VP of Content Stephen Wacker, you’ll get the inside scoop on Marvel’s Storyboards and more! Here are a few highlights:

  • Joe’s history with San Diego Comic-Con going back to his first one in 1989 – how much has changed, how much has stayed the same?
  • The origin story of the Cup of Joe panel and its early beginnings as a column called “Joe Fridays.” Find out how Joe was inspired by Stan’s Soapbox columns and why he moved to taking questions from a live audience.
  • See how Cup of Joe led to the idea that became Marvel’s Storyboards, and which special Cup of Joe guest inspired the premise of the show.
  • Joe talks about the guests he’ll have on Marvel’s Storyboards in Seasons 1 and 2, and he has some great stories about the making of the show! There might even be some goofy preview clips…

But we don’t want to spoil anything, so make sure to tune in for the whole panel beginning at 11:00 AM PT/2:00 PM ET on Comic-Con@Home on YouTube!
