Listen to Chapter 5 of 'Marvel's Wolverine: The Lost Trail' for Free Right Now

Get a recap of the previous episodes before diving into the latest chapter!

Every Monday, new episodes of Marvel's Wolverine: The Lost Trail are released for free! To mark each new episode, we're doing recaps and updating a map from last week's chapter.

But first, listen to the latest episode of Marvel's Wolverine: The Lost Trail right now! Get lost in Chapter 5, "Riverboat Revival," below, then keep reading for more insights on previous episodes.

For a look at where we were before episode 4, we deputized Marvel.com writer (and first-time listener) Amanda Ames to keep up with the action as it's released. Get caught up on what went down in Chapter 3 right here, then dig into Chapter 4 below...

Tensions begin to rise as secrets bubble to the surface and some alliances reach their boiling points.

While the Cold Blooded regroup to care for their wounded after the showdown at the Jolly Roger, Bonnie confronts Agent Peirce. Something’s not right, she’s not human, and we know how Bonnie feels about non-humans...

Sally seems keen on ending their arrangement then and there, but she has her orders—the Cold Blooded serve an important purpose—for now. She’s trying to keep the peace, but whether or not Bonnie can hold up her end of the deal without setting out on a rogue-killing spree is yet to be seen. However, one thing remains perfectly clear to Agent Pierce: bring Logan in or it’s lights out.

Here’s what we know so far...

  • Pierce still has a tracker on Marcus but she’s not willing to make a move on Logan until the pair splits up. It’s risky, but if she can find the mutant commune and take down Logan at the same time she’ll be back in good graces with Weapon X. So for now she’ll just have to bide her time—something Bonnie seems incapable of. Once she gets word of the mutant terrorist group, she rallies her troops and prepares to flood the bayou in search of Green Haven.
  • Turns out old Beaux at the docks supplied more than just a boat for our two amateur detectives. He’d been out on the bayou about two months back, right around where Logan and Marcus intended to head, and saw more than he bargained for or so he thought. Looks like Beaux fell victim to another one of Wyngarde’s visions—confirming his location and giving the pair their best lead as to where those missing persons might be. But something isn’t adding up, Wyngarde’s powers are stronger than they should be.
  • Weapon X may have a larger, more sinister, plan underway in the bayou than we realized. It seems the Cold Blooded are just a cover for the organizations ongoing operations in New Orleans, but what else could they want besides Logan? It doesn’t take a psychic to sense that it’s probably connected to Wyngarde and our missing persons, but the how is not so easily navigated.

If our dysfunctional duo has any hope of getting through the bayou alive they need to dig up whatever lays buried in the marshes of Logan’s mind and that can only mean one thing—it’s time to embrace a little vodou in the bayou...

Here's a rough sketch of the trail we've traveled so far.
