Listen to Chapter 6 of 'Marvel's Wolverine: The Lost Trail' for Free Today

Get a recap of the previous episodes before diving into the latest chapter!

Every Monday, new episodes of Marvel's Wolverine: The Lost Trail are released for free! To mark each new episode, we're doing recaps and updating a map from last week's chapter.

But first, listen to the latest episode of Marvel's Wolverine: The Lost Trail right now! Get lost in Chapter 6, "Blood on the Bayou," below, then keep reading for more insights on previous episodes.

For a look at where we were before episode 5, we've deputized Marvel.com writer (and first-time listener) Amanda Ames to keep up with the action as it's released. Get caught up on what went down in Chapter 4 right here, then dig into Chapter 5 below...

A truth long hidden in the shadows finally begins to step into the light, but not everyone is ready to see what’s there...

A very reluctant Logan arrives at Karna Eyestone’s doorstep, pushed by the ever-optimistic Marcus, who’s eager to take a trip down memory lane. But Logan’s there for one thing and one thing only—gas—and once they have it, it’s back on the trail to Green Haven. Too bad for him—Karna has plans of her own, and she seems a little too interested in Logan’s memories.

Could she be involved with Weapon X, or does she simply hold the key to unlocking Logan’s past? Either way we smell trouble in paradise for our two detectives... And once they open the doors ahead of them, there’s no going back.

  • Agent Pierce struggles to keep Bonnie in check after she kills old Beaux down at the docks. In a last ditch effort she threatens Bonnie—Weapon X has rules, it’s either fall in line or face the consequences. This seems to subdue Bonnie for the time being so Pierce sends the Cold Blooded out to set up a half-mile perimeter around Logan and Marcus. Their orders are to stay hidden and hold until she signals for the attack. Once Pierce has her targets, Green Haven and all its mutants are fair game. The only question is...how much longer will Bonnie be happy playing by someone else’s rules?
  • Much to Logan’s surprise, Karna Eyestone turns out to be a legitimate mystic—or so it would seem after she sends Logan on a journey through his own mind. It’s here we find bits of the past Logan’s been running from. Maureen worked at Weapon X mind-wiping their assets, including Logan, and she may be closer to the sentinels than we thought… Jason Wyngarde also has connections to the agency and was there around the time Maureen and Logan escaped. Then, amidst the Weapon X revelations, Logan’s mind brings him back to the last time he was in New Orleans, the last time he saw Maureen, and unfortunately, not the last time he killed a man.
  • Looks like Marcus’ plan backfired and the past has only succeeded in fogging up the present. After Logan’s admission of guilt Marcus runs off in their boat, unsure of what to do next. In his daze, he lands himself aboard a gambling cruise where, not surprisingly, he finds Gambit. Always one to play the hand he’s dealt, Gambit decides to show Marcus a "good time." That is, until Logan arrives in a rage and chokes the truth out of him. Turns out he just wanted to play Marcus long enough to steal his mother’s necklace. Unable to take all the lies surrounding him Marcus hightails it once more, but this time he runs straight into the open arms of Bonnie Roach.

Can Logan spring his young friend from the clutches of an unhinged killer or will he walk straight into her trap? The hunted must become the hunter once more... Looks like it’s time for a good old-fashioned brawl in the bayou.

Here's a rough sketch of the trail we've traveled so far.
