13 Marvel Titles to Check Out on Disney+ Launch Day

The day is finally here — Disney+ has officially launched and you can start streaming now!

Disney+, the highly anticipated streaming service from The Walt Disney Company, launched today in the U.S., Canada, and the Netherlands. With nearly 500 films and 7,500 episodes of television from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more, Disney+ is the exclusive home for some of the world’s most beloved stories as well as a robust slate of original content ready to be discovered.

You’re among the first to start streaming your favorite Marvel films and TV series, including never-before-seen original series being created exclusively for the service. We know that much choice can be a little daunting, so let us help!

Here’s a highlight of some of the Marvel things you can stream at launch:

1. MARVEL STUDIOS’ CAPTAIN MARVEL (2019)

 


Brie Larson is the fiercest woman we stan, and the person she embodies, Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel is one of the Marvel universe’s most powerful heroes. Watch the journey of Carol Danvers as she discovers her past and prevent a galactic war between two alien races from reaching Earth.

A masterpiece that defined so many childhoods and introduced so many young minds to the X-Men, including Cyclops, Wolverine, Rogue, Storm, Beast, Gambit, Jubilee, Jean Grey, and Professor X.

3. MARVEL’S HERO PROJECT (2019)

Launching exclusively on Disney+, Marvel presents a new series that spotlights real-life heroes—several extraordinary, inspiring kids—and gives them the Super Hero treatment for the work they’ve done in their communities across the country.

4. MARVEL STUDIOS’ IRON MAN (2008)

 


Watch the film that kicked off the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe over a decade ago as Disney Legend Robert Downey Jr. becomes the Armored Avenger who vows to protect the world as Iron Man.

5. SPIDER-MAN (SEASON 1) (1994)

 


The iconic Spider-Man: The Animated Series tackled a number of iconic comic storylines, including SECRET WARS, in a serialized manner and was one of the Super Hero cartoons, including X-Men: The Animated Series, that defined the 90s. The series welcomed other Marvel players including Daredevil, The Punisher, and the X-Men.

6. MARVEL RISING: SECRET WARRIORS (2018)

 


Witness Marvel’s newest and beloved young heroes, Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, Quake, Patriot, America Chavez, and Inferno, join forces and rise together as an unlikely and formidable crew of aspiring heroes.

7. MARVEL STUDIOS: ASSEMBLING A UNIVERSE (2014)

This documentary has Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, Marvel Entertainment chief creative officer Joe Quesada, and more discussing the beginnings of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

8. MARVEL STUDIOS’ GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY (2014)

 


Every launch day needs an action-packed, epic space adventure set to some serious dope tunes. Guardians of the Galaxy ushered the MCU into the cosmos with this ragtag bunch!

9. MARVEL’S AVENGERS: BLACK PANTHER’S QUEST (2018)

 


The series, which was nominated for the NAACP’s Outstanding Children’s Programming award, tackles an incredible season where T’Challa must decide if he’s an Avenger first or the King of Wakanda, as well as team up with his sister Shuri to go on missions that no other Avenger can.

10. THE INCREDIBLE HULK (SEASON 1) (1996)

 


Throwing back to another 90s classic, The Incredible Hulk animated series finds Dr. Bruce Banner aka the Incredible Hulk on the run, while Betty Ross looks for a cure for him. Along the way, he encounters as Leader, Rick Jones, The Gargoyle, War Machine, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider, as well as the introduction of She-Hulk and Grey Hulk.

11. AVENGERS: ENDGAME (2019)
 


Marvel Studios' Avengers: Endgame is the highest grossing film of all time. The final chapter of the 22-film MCU series, Avengers: Endgame is the climactic conclusion to an unprecedented, 11-year cinematic journey in which the Avengers take one final stand against Thanos. Before next year's release of Disney+ series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, which recently started production, as well as the release of WandaVision, Loki, and more, discover the state of the Marvel universe as it currently stands.

10. Marvel's AGENT CARTER (2015)
 


Speaking of Avengers: Endgame, we get to the return of an important figure from Steve Rogers' past come into play. Witness Peggy Carter tackle cases at the Strategic Scientific Reserve (SSR) in the 1940s, dealing with threats in the aftermath of World War II, while secretly aiding Howard Stark. Plus, meet Edwin Jarvis!

10. MARVEL'S RUNAWAYS (2017)
 


Before the third season premiere of Marvel's Runaways, catch up on the series from the beginning. Every teenager thinks their parents are evil. Unfortunately for six LA teens, their parents truly are. This is a can't miss series with an incredible soundtrack!
