‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’: Can the Team Stop Sousa’s Death?

When the next Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode picks up it's the year 1955 and it’s not a great day in S.H.I.E.L.D. history — it’s the day that Agent Daniel Sousa dies. 

In a completely black and white episode, narrated by Agent Coulson with a very noir mystery vibe, the Agents find themselves traveling through time once again, landing on July 22, 1955...when Coulson realizes the importance of this day in the S.H.I.E.L.D. history books. It’s the day Sousa becomes the first fallen S.H.I.E.L.D. agent! 

With a chip on his shoulder and a genre-bending glitch in his system, Coulson set into motion a chain of events that would hopefully preserve the timeline as we know it and ensure those pesky chronicoms get the ending they deserve. What could go wrong?

Season 7 of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs on Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
