Download Navia Robinson's 'Marvel Rising' Single 'Roaring Thunder' Now

Walt Disney Records and Marvel Music today released “Roaring Thunder,” an exclusive new single performed by Navia Robinson (Raven's Home) as the theme song to the recently released animated special Marvel Rising: Playing With Fire. The digital single is currently available for download and at streaming services and the official lyric music video is now available on DisneyMusicVEVO (click here to watch).

Marvel Rising: Playing With Fire stars Tyler Posey as the brooding, hot-headed loner Inferno. In this special, Inferno's powers are stolen by a young and powerful villain, Zayla, played by Navia Robinson, and it's up to the Secret Warriors to defeat their new foe and help their friend. But does Inferno even WANT his powers back?

During a private record earlier this year, Marvel.com had the opportunity to speak with Navia Robinson about her character Zayla and her theme song in the special. Describing her first song as a solo artist, Robinson shared, "'Roaring Thunder' is very empowering. It's kind of that song that you just turn on and it puts you in a good mood" before adding, "It definitely brings a smile on my face." Robinson also called out the outro as her favorite part of the song due to its "cool" and "unique" parts.

When asked if "Roaring Thunder" is from the perspective of Zayla or of the Secret Warriors, Robinson explained, "It's from the perspective of Zayla AND the Secret Warriors. Both sides are trying to empower themselves to accomplish what they've set their sights on."
