Marvel Mission Honorable Mention: Toilet Paper Avengers

Toilet paper tubes, assemble.

The bi-weekly Marvel Mission challenges have put social media to the test, asking for the best, most creative responses to the Marvel-themed prompts. While many users have taken interesting DIY routes (so much construction paper, foil, paint, and foam!), one follower stuck to one item, and one item alone: toilet paper. Because who needs fancy craft supplies when you’ve got toilet paper?

For the past half dozen Marvel Mission challenges, A.J. Roberts has been using only toilet paper tubes — sometimes with the toilet paper still on — to bring Marvel items to life. Tony Stark’s Arc Reactor made out of cardboard toilet paper tubes? Check. Black Widow’s bites made out of cardboard toilet paper tubes? Check. The glowing Tesseract Cosmic Cube out of a full roll of toilet paper? Check check. Talk about using safe, readily available household products!

You can find more of A.J.’s toilet paper creations in the gallery below, and maybe they’ll spark some ideas for the next Marvel Mission!
