Women of Marvel Celebrates Pride with Three Powerhouse Writers
Download this episode to hear from Vita Ayala, Tini Howard, and Leah Williams!
Last year, in celebration of Pride Month and in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, Women of Marvel hosts Judy Stephens and Sana Amanat spoke to writers Vita Ayala, Tini Howard, and Leah Williams about everything from breakthrough moments in their careers to Queer representation in comics.
It’s Pride month once again, and we are physically isolated but hardly alone. Now joined by Ellie Pyle, the hosts continue to celebrate LGBTQ+ pride by listening back to this personality-packed interview.
“I feel like we are trained from an early age," shared Ayala during the discussion, " Even if we don’t know that we’re Queer, to look for subtext in ways that people who feel very comfortable with themselves do not.”
