D23 Expo kicked off with Bob Iger, Chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company celebrating and honoring the next class of Disney Legends. Marvel was well represented with the induction of Robert Downey, Jr. , Ming Na Wen and Jon Favreau for their contributions and achievements throughout their careers.
AVENGERS CAMPUS AT DISNEY PARKS
The excitement for D23 Expo got started a little early as the night before D23 Expo, Disney Parks announced the name of the new Super Hero lands at Disney California Adventure and Disneyland Paris: "Avengers Campus"! We got the first glimpse of the new land and all the wonders at the Disney Parks Pavilion at D23 Expo. Then we ended D23 Expo with a mind blowing presentation from Disney Parks that revealed even more about Avengers Campus and gave us a glimpse of the Guardians of the Galaxy at Epcot!
MARVEL TELEVISION AND MARVEL ANIMATION
Marvel fans of the small screen hit the jackpot at the D23 Expo with glimpses at the final season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Spider-Gwen's return to Marvel Rising and for the young viewers, two new animated series to be on the lookout for.
The House of Ideas was on-hand to not only celebrate all things Marvel at D23 Expo, but to also share the excitement of Marvel's 80th Anniversary with fans. Those in attendance not only got to see the legacy of Marvel Comics unfold, but some exciting news was shared as well for Marvel Comics #1000 and an important moment in Marvel Comics History coming this December.

One of the biggest aspects of D23 Expo this year was Disney+, the new streaming service from The Walt Disney Company launching on November 12. Fans at D23 Expo got the first looks at some of the amazing shows that will be streaming on the service. Marvel was proud to be on hand with one of the first non-fiction shows premiering at launch, Marvel's Hero Project and Marvel Studios thrilled the audience with some info about a few of the shows coming from the MCU and surprised everyone by announcing three new shows that will be coming to Disney+.
What would the D23 Expo be without some news about movies from Disney? Luckily Kevin Feige from Marvel Studios was on hand and he even brought some friends with some major new announcements of what fans can expect from the upcoming films from Marvel Studios. We found out that Black Panther 2 is happening, got to see the complete cast of The Eternals and got our first glimpse of Black Widow.
